Anybody who has read George R.R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice series is going to poop in their pants when they read about this. HBO is turning the books into a series with each book covering a whole season. A Song of Fire and Ice is my favorite series. I can't believe this is happening. A dance of joy!!!

RIP Glenn. I didn't know you that well over the past few years but I ran into you a lot at various pick up basketball games, softball tournaments, or APEX/NAAAP events. You were an extremely hardcore sports fanatic and could crush a softball into the bleachers everytime. Last time we met was after midight on Thanksgiving at the Nike Outlet store. You will be missed by a lot of people...even by those who barely knew you.

I hope you're resting in peace in heaven above.

Hello from London! Anna and I are spending Christmas at the Mariott Grosvenor House near Hyde Park. The area around the hotel is beautiful. Most everything is closed but so far we've walked by the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, House of Parliament, 10 Downing St., the Ministry of Defense, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and a few other sites. Of course, since it's Christmas, most restaurants are closed but thank god for Chinatown. Pork and roast duck rice!

Absolutely pathetic. Under criminal investigation and they continue to throw parties to recruit more pledges. If I were a Lambda alumni I'd be feeling embarrased and disgraced. There are a lot of ways to clean up your image: community service or educational awareness on hazing. Throwing another party is not one of them. I understand the need to move on but this group doesn't seem to be remorse or have learned anything. And who are the 900 plus kids who attended the party?

I can't be the only one offended can I? I'm still mad at the mocking the language thing from Rosie O'Donnell and the morning show on 106.1--they did a bit called Kidd 2.0 yesterday where they called in a Chinese Restaurant and used some of Kidd's prerecorded butchering of the Chinese language to confuse the Chinese restaurant owners. A coworker doesn't get why I'm offended so I'm trying to explain to her.

Last year another coworker, a half-Korean girl, told me her cubemates called her their little Chink friend. I tried explaining to her too why it's offensive and she shouldn't take it but she told me it didn't bother her. They're making fun of your race and your culture! Grow a spine and speak up for yourself! If not for yourself then for other Asians out there who might get the same crappy racially insensitve comments directed at them.

Anyways, what I'm trying to do now is explain why I'm offended and perhaps others will understand. I know there are those who say they don't get peronsally offended easily. That's fine but try to understand why I am instead of giving the whatever attitude.
